An homage to Sugar Spun Run - basically.
I have tried a lot of recipes on this blog. They have (almost) all turned out delicious. I have an inkling of a goal not to re-make a recipe until I have tried all the ones on the blog that look good.
So when E asked me to bake cookies for his boss, I turned there. I had personally been craving some peanut butter cookies. E loves classic chocolate chip.
So I made these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies (for me, although I did share). And I made these Second Best Chocolate Chip Cookies (for E, who also had to share). They both turned out incredible. I can't stop eating the peanut butter ones (a very rare thing for me).
(The chocolate chip cookies are called second-best because the author of the blog has a "Worst " chocolate chip cookie recipe which I have made before and is delicious. It was actually the first recipe I made from her blog back when I was looking for the perfect chocolate chip cookie.)
I have many more recipes to try and make. I look forward to them.
